APEX EDC Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

In the current version, APEX EDC does not collect personal information such as your name, phone number, email, address, contacts, photo album, camera, microphone, or location.

To deliver the local experience, the following settings may be saved on your device:

• Favorited toy types;
• Global sound toggle;
• Spinner torque, slider magnetic strength, slider orientation, slider haptic feedback, and other lab parameters;
• Selected skin for each toy;
• Achievement progress and unlock status;
• Other local configuration related to UI state and lab preferences.

All of the above information is stored locally on your device and is not automatically synced to the cloud.

2. How We Use Information

We only use locally stored settings for the following purposes:

• Restoring your settings from your last session;
• Maintaining a personalized experience across lab toys;
• Controlling sound effects, haptic feedback, and certain interaction details;
• Tracking achievement progress and displaying unlock notifications.

We do not use this data for ad targeting, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

3. Sensors and System Capabilities

Some labs use system capabilities to enhance the interactive experience:

• The Tactical Lighter lab may use the device gyroscope to simulate flame sway as the device tilts;
• The Spinner, Slider, Ghost EDC, and Coin modules use system vibration APIs for multi-level haptic feedback;
• Sound effects are played using local audio playback of built-in resources.

These capabilities run entirely locally. The current version does not send any sensor data to remote servers.

4. Data Storage and Retention

4.1 Your settings are stored in the app's local data directory on your device. They will be retained until you clear the app data, uninstall the app, or reset your device.

4.2 When you uninstall the app, clear app data, or manually reset relevant settings, the locally stored configuration will typically be deleted.

4.3 We do not create user accounts, and therefore no server-side account database exists.

5. Third-Party Sharing

In the current version, we do not share your personal information with ad networks, analytics platforms, or other third parties. The app uses only the Flutter runtime and system-provided local capabilities. Any plugins used are solely for implementing local audio, sensor, and storage functions.

6. Permissions

Depending on your device and system version, the app may use the following system capabilities:

• Vibration permission or system vibration capability for interactive feedback;
• Sensor access for the gyroscope effect in the Lighter lab;
• Local storage capability for saving preferences.

If you disable these capabilities, some features may not work as intended, but basic browsing of the app should remain unaffected.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not specifically designed for children and does not actively collect children's personal information. If a parent or guardian believes the app is unsuitable, please stop using it.

8. Your Choices

• Toggle the global sound effect on or off in the app settings;
• Clear app data in your system settings to delete locally saved preferences;
• Disable sensors, vibration, or related system capabilities through system permission management.

9. Policy Updates

When features, legal requirements, or system implementations change, we may update this privacy policy. After an update, please review the latest version to understand our current data handling practices.
